Manchester/ North West Join a leading Top Tier one main contractor with an excellent reputation. My client is a Tier One main building contractor that is well established in the marketplace. Due to an increase in contracts won in the Manchester region, they currently require a Senior Design Manager to join their team. They deliver large-scale design and build projects, with a strong reputation for high-quality project delivery. The company is delivering a variety of projects within the education, commercial, and leisure sectors. Their schemes range between £30 million to £50 million, so experience with projects of this scale is preferred. The Senior Design Manager they are looking for will have proven experience in planning submissions and pre-construction processes of projects. The successful candidate will have experience working for main building contractors in pre-construction teams. They are flexible on the level at this stage and will review applications to determine the best fit within the teams. As a Senior Design Manager, you will be involved in your designated project from pre-construction stages through to initial design and delivery on site. Most projects run for around 2 years, and they work regionally with a significant pipeline in the North West. You will attend internal and external meetings, chair discussions, and review design drawings in accordance with building regulations.
