We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

with a minimum of 5 years of experience in BI tools and data warehousing. As a Senior BI Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to transform complex data into actionable insights.

What you'll be doing...

Requirements Gathering:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze BI requirements, ensuring that technical solutions meet business objectives and reporting needs

BI Solution Development:

Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools using BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools)

Data Ingestion Assistance:

Assist data engineers and other teams in data ingestion efforts when needed, ensuring accurate and timely integration of data from various sources

Performance Optimization:

Monitor and improve the performance of BI systems, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery

Data Integration:

Collaborate with data engineers and other teams to integrate data from various internal and external sources

Data Governance and Security:

Ensure compliance with data governance policies, implement data security measures, and support regulatory reporting requirements

Documentation:

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of BI solutions and system architecture

Troubleshooting and Support:

Provide advanced troubleshooting for BI solutions, assisting users in report generation and data interpretation

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a BI Developer, with expertise in BI tools and data warehousing

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Power BI

Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data

Familiarity with cloud-based BI and data warehouse solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)

Experience with scripting languages such as Python or R is a plus

Analytical and Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Collaboration:

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams

Self-Motivation:

Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex BI projects

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree is a plus

Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)

Familiarity with data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Revenue Cycle Management experience in healthcare

Certifications in BI tools or data management (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Certified Professional)
