Senior Developer – Next.js, Bideford

In this challenging yet rewarding role of Senior Developer, you will be mainly responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of customer, owner, and internal websites and systems. We need someone who can help deliver functional, maintainable code that meets the needs of the business and isn't afraid to step up when our technological toolset, processes, or applications need improving. As part of your everyday role, you’re likely to be involved in the following: Developing technical solutions across a variety of languages and technologies Ensuring tasks are appropriately sized for continual delivery Working towards robust functionality that meets business needs and engages users Creating automated tests for the code written Initiating peer reviews to maintain the quality of development What are we looking for? Ideally, we’re looking for: Experienced and enthusiastic engineer, able to demonstrate knowledge of Express & React An individual with experience in Typescript and ideally some of the following technologies: C#, AWS Lambda, React Native, SQL, Tailwind CSS, Storybook A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset An individual who understands testing strategies and has a desire for continuous improvements An ability to function well in a fast-paced, demanding and changeable environment Someone with previous experience in providing mentoring What’s in it for you?
