Work hours : Monday-Friday, 9am-5.30pm Location : Fully Remote - Occasional Travel to our headquarters in Bideford What will I be doing? As a Developer, you will be squarely positioned at the heart of our technical operations, responsible for writing functional and maintainable code that meets the business needs. You will need to take full ownership of the functionality you develop, ensuring that it resonates with the business needs and user engagement. Developing technical solutions across a variety of languages and technologies Ensuring tasks are appropriately sized for continual delivery Writing functional code and automated tests Taking ownership of the functionality developed, ensuring it aligns with business needs and user engagement Conducting peer reviews to maintain development quality Assisting in troubleshooting production issues and ensuring recurrence is prevented What are we looking for? Ideally, we’re looking for: An experienced and enthusiastic engineer with significant knowledge of PHP development, including the use of the Symfony framework and Doctrine Someone experienced in ReactJS, and able to work with technologies such as AWS Lambda, Typescript and MySQL An individual with a strong understanding of testing strategies and with a zest for continuous improvement Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, demanding and changeable environment, able to mentor others Someone who is experienced in providing mentoring and takes accountability of their team's work quality What’s in it for you?
