Senior Development Project Engineer

to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to our

Vehicle Line Manager , you

will be responsible for managing the vehicle test plan to ensure DVP is completed on time and within budget. Acting as the key interface between vehicle development & attribute/function teams, you will work closely with the development managers to ensure a robust & efficient plan is delivered. The role will also require interfacing with our vehicle fleet operations team, ensuring all test assets are fit for purpose, scheduling and executing hardware, software and instrumentation reworks & updates to meet the testing request requirements. This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our offices near Leamington Spa. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field. Oversee the creation & delivery of the complete vehicle DVP. Monitor the execution of testing to ensure test efficiency, issue escalation, first level diagnosis and thorough documentation to the appropriate standards. Hold cross functional reviews to support issues resolution across the development fleet operations. Lead workstreams within multi-disciplined cross-functional attribute/system teams. Support & manage a fleet of development assets inclusive of vehicle, BIW's and Rigs. Support the Development Lead to manage the hardware, software and instrumentation requirements are in place for all assets, tracking their representativeness and significance for test. Who you are

Broad experience working in vehicle development/project management. Prior experience of fleet/issue management or similar. High level understanding of whole vehicle systems, components & functions. Experience with JIRA, Smart Sheets or Microsoft Project. Comfortable to work within a start-up environment. About Us
