Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Senior DevOps Engineer focuses on maintain ci/cd pipelines to support efficient and secure software delivery.

What the role involves

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and secure software delivery.
• Provide technical leadership across DevOps practices, platform reliability and infrastructure evolution.
• Administer and optimise Azure and on-premise application environments.
• Maintain monitoring, logging and alerting solutions across business-critical systems.
• Ensure security best practices are embedded throughout infrastructure, applications and deployment processes.
• Develop scripts, tooling and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Skills and requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Microsoft Azure is essential, including the design, deployment and management of complex Microsoft-based infrastructure environments.
• At least 5 years' commercial experience in a Senior DevOps role, including demonstrable experience leading initiatives, mentoring colleagues and owning architecture decisions.
• Experience with secrets and identity management, including Azure Key Vault, managed identities, Entra ID integration and RBAC design.
• Experience with observability, monitoring and logging platforms such as Azure Monitor and Grafana.

Confirmed role details

• Leicestershire – hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office for the foreseeable future.
