The Pearson Assessment Services (PAS) team provides assessment services to the UK and international assessment markets, supporting government education departments with project management, operational delivery, and technical solutions. About You:

This role suits someone with a background in complex projects involving CI/CD pipeline deployments, IAC with Terraform, Python scripting, and troubleshooting. Key Skills & Experience: Solid understanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and cloud implementation with hands-on experience. In-depth experience in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) deployment with Terraform. Experience in building and deploying applications using DevOps practices such as CI/CD. Experience with Amazon AWS Cloud Services: EC2, VPC, Data Migration Service, Lambda, RDS, S3, SNS, IAM, EventBridge, Step Functions. Experience in Database Services: Amazon Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB. Good experience with Python scripting for AWS Services automation. Knowledge of enterprise-level database solutions, such as Oracle and MS-SQL. Experience with large-scale data environments and creating release documentation. Familiarity with GCP services: Datastream, BigQuery, CloudSQL. Experience using JIRA – Kanban Boards, agile methodology.
