Senior DevSecOps Architect

Location: UK - London, UK - Birmingham, UK - Edinburgh, UK - Hatfield, UK - Milton Keynes, UK - Nottingham | Job-ID: 208305 | Contract type: Standard | Business Unit: IT Consulting Life on the team As a Pre-sales DevSecOps Architect, you will deliver both pre and post sales technical consultancy to our customers. You will be leading teams of consultants in delivery engagements as well as providing pre-sales qualification, bid response and design to consultancy engagements with specific focus on DevOps and CI/CD best practice methodologies, along with the appropriate tooling. What you'll do Design and implement complex multi-technology solutions for customers consistently Define solutions, technologies and standards to blueprint best practice Produce high quality assignment documentation and assure deliverables produced by team members to ensure consistency and accuracy within a solution Lead a team defining, designing and implementing solutions for customers Host customer meetings to present solutions from a technical and implementation approach Highlight technical risks that may impact the success of the solution for our client Provide thought leadership for peers, the practice, internal clients, our customers and partners Influence customers, suppliers and partners at account level Understand the relationship between own specialism and wider customer/organisational requirements Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders who have diverse objectives Analyse requirements and advise on scope and options for continuous operational improvement. Take all requirements into account when making proposals Demonstrate creativity, innovation and ethical thinking in applying solutions What you'll need Experience of working in a team of DevOps or DevSecOps practitioners Experience of working with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitLab or similar Container native technologies and ecosystem experience e.g. Openshift and Kubernetes An understanding of Agile Delivery (Kanban/SCRUM/XP/Lean/SAFe) An understanding of DevOps Management (JIRA, Confluence) Knowledge of Hashicorp Terraform and Hashicorp Vault Awareness of SAST Security Testing - GitLab, Checkmarx, Veracode Awareness of DAST Security Testing - GitLab, Veracode Awareness of SCA / IAST Security Testing - Checkmarx, GitLab, Veracode Certifications in Gitlab, Terraform and Vault would be preferable About us With over 20,000 employees across the globe, we work at the heart of digitisation, advising organisations on IT strategy, implementing the most appropriate technology, and helping our customers to source, transform and manage their technology infrastructure in over 70 countries.
