£40-45k Basic Salary + Bonus Hours:

Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm - No Weekends! Our client, a well-respected independent garage in Canterbury, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior/ Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their skilled team. With a commitment to high-quality service and customer satisfaction, this garage takes pride in its reputation and continues to thrive in the competitive automotive industry. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience as a Senior Technician and a solid understanding of diagnostic work, ensuring that every vehicle is serviced to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough vehicle diagnostics and repairs, ensuring safety and reliability. Supervise and assist junior technicians, providing guidance and training. Perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks on various makes and models. Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations and recommendations. Maintain records of work completed and ensure compliance with safety standards. Stay updated with industry developments and emerging automotive technologies. Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician in a garage environment. Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of modern vehicle systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, with a customer-focused approach. Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ) in automotive engineering. Full driving license.
