Senior Digital Developer We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Developer to join our team! This is a hybrid role with a mix of working from the office and at home. You must live within a commutable distance from Stoke-On-Trent or Manchester. The successful candidate will ensure the successful delivery and ongoing maintenance of internally developed Atlanta systems. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Excellent organisational skills; must have the ability to organise meetings, people, and schedule events such as code releases. Excellent communication skills; must be able to communicate with various aspects of the business on their level, reporting back accurate information as required to keep the relevant people informed. Ability to work well under pressure; during incidents, a senior would naturally take the lead on any issues and coordinate and work towards resolving them as quickly and efficiently as possible. Develop in-house solutions using C# (Full Stack), .NET/Core, JavaScript, Angular, HTML, and tooling as appropriate, and support and promote code in production as part of a DevOps culture. Positively promote the business, department, and team, always representing them as a professional with integrity, transparency, and honesty to deliver a solution-oriented approach to work while providing open and honest feedback. In all internal and external contact, present a professional and positive image of the department, the team, and the company, as well as maintaining mutually constructive, positive, and beneficial relationships. Passionate about embracing new challenges; able to use own initiative and knowledge to problem-solve. Ensure all digital/application development platforms are robust and secure, with source code always protected, and take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality. Ensure that all code is reviewed/tested for known vulnerabilities, in line with current best practices and processes. Utilise robust/modern software development lifecycle toolsets and methods of delivery, as well as test automation in the development and deployment of new branded instances of digital/application assets. Participate in the definition of new digital assets/application designs and assist in the estimation of resources required to deliver solutions meeting these designs. Progressively deliver functioning solutions via an agile planning and iterative delivery approach. Ensure your own continuous professional development (to Proficient/Expert standards) and stay current on industry developments & innovations. Encourage, support, and coach other team members in their own development and take a positive attitude to their own career and learning path. Skills/Experience Required: Working on enterprise-class solutions. Front-end development, API, and service delivery. Excellent communications. Ability to take lead on situations until resolution. Ability to guide lower-level developers and aid in their learning and deliverables. Ability to lead digital projects. Teamwork with the digital team, as well as the wider business. Communication with management and the digital team is essential. Time management is critical, ensuring we deliver the best software as early as possible without affecting quality. Technical Skills Required: C# (Full stack). .NET/Core. JavaScript. HTML. CSS. Git. Automated testing of deliverables. TDD approach. SOLID principles. DevOps experience (advantageous).
