Master's degree in a Computer Science or related subject, or equivalent qualification or experience in large-scale, complex IT solution implementations involving integration/interoperability. Epic Bridges certification; Intersystems Healthshare Development certification or equivalent experience. Desirable criteria
EPIC specialist certification in clinical modules e.g. Beaker/Radiant/Cupid/Willow. Certification in other InterSystems product toolset e.g. Caché server administration and Caché ObjectScript. Prince 2 accreditation; Familiarity with Agile. Knowledge and Experience Essential criteria
Extensive experience of designing, developing, testing, and managing interfaces using Intersystems HealthShare and Epic Bridges toolsets. Advanced software development skills using Caché ObjectScript in a business environment. Substantial experience of managing Intersystems Caché/IRIS integration server platform. Extensive experience of conducting in-depth technical analysis required for integrating hospital clinical systems through messaging & interfaces. Extensive experience of delivering integration solutions, software products, and the accompanying application configurations in a healthcare setting. Extensive experience of software design and management using structured methodologies. Good working knowledge of common patient visit workflows and events that drive NHS data flow through interfaces/messages.
