The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior E-Commerce Manager to join our team and drive our e-commerce capabilities to new heights. You will be responsible for leading and developing our e-commerce strategy, optimising the customer experience, and ensuring the seamless operation of our online storefront. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify, and will possess the expertise to manage agencies, large-scale e-commerce change projects, and performance optimization.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Working with a wide range of stakeholders, develop and implement a robust e-commerce strategy that aligns with wider business goals and drives growth across all our international territories.
  • Manage our e-commerce trading strategy and the day-to-day management of our websites as well as guiding and managing the development of new features with our development agency.
  • Initiate and lead initiatives in search engine optimisation (SEO), conversion rate optimization (CRO), A/B and multivariate testing, and user experience (UX) to create a best-in-class digital experience.
  • Lead a programme of continuous improvement through constantly measuring and analysing e-commerce performance and using these insights to drive further improvements as well as remaining up-to-date with the latest e-commerce technologies and trends, ensuring that our platform remains innovative.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a strong e-commerce team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery of services.


What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in e-commerce, with experience in Shopify strongly preferred and experience in consumer goods highly desirable.
  • Strong data and commercial skills, with experience of performance measurement and the management of day-to-day trade and an understanding of how to optimise and merchandise a website to drive revenue and profit.
  • Technical knowledge, including a working knowledge of conversion rate optimisation, search engine optimisation and user experience design. Some knowledge of Web Development technologies such as HTML, CSS and Shopify Liquid would be helpful, but not essential.
  • Experience in setting e-commerce strategy across multiple international locations, working as part of an omni-channel brand. Proven experience in managing large e-commerce projects and working with external agencies and vendors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners and demonstrable experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
