Avalara are building a team of specialist e-invoicing sales experts. As a Senior E-Invoicing Sales Executive you will help drive the growth of Avalara in the rapidly evolving world of tax compliance. You will use your SaaS sales experience and advanced e-invoicing knowledge to identify, cultivate, and close business opportunities globally with potential clients while building and maintaining strong partner relationships. Join us in this exciting journey as we revolutionize the e-invoicing market, providing businesses with the tools they need to stay compliant. The position is offered on a fully remote basis. You will report into the Senior Director, Global E-invoicing Sales. What Your Responsibilities Will Be

E-Invoicing Market Expertise:

Stay current with industry trends and regulations related to e-invoicing and transaction taxes, providing subject matter expertise to both prospects and colleagues. New Business Development:

Identify and target potential customers within the e-invoicing market, understanding their pain points, and presenting Avalara's solutions as the optimal choice for tax compliance. Sales Strategy:

Develop and execute a sales strategy tailored to the e-invoicing sector, leveraging Avalara's unique strengths and differentiators. Solution Selling:

Understand the complex needs of clients and tailor Avalara's software solutions to meet their specific requirements. Relationship Building:

Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process. Quota Achievement:

Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas, driving revenue growth for Avalara. Sales Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including Sales Engineers, Product Specialists, and Customer Account Managers to win business globally. What You’ll Need To Be Successful

7+ years of successful software sales experience, with experience meeting sales quotas. Strong background in e-invoicing software sales, including selling e-invoicing mandated deals. Strong background in SaaS sales. Experience in selling to enterprise-level clients. Strong knowledge of the e-invoicing market including the already introduced and upcoming mandates. Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects. Experience in a quota-carrying sales role, with a focus on new or existing business. How We’ll Take Care Of You
