Access have partnered with a CIEEM registered UK environmental consultancy who are expanding their ecology team based in rural Hampshire. After continued success and having gained chartered status, our client is searching for a Senior Ecological Consultant who is motivated, ambitious and passionate about delivering excellent projects. Our client has established themselves as a trusted Ecological consultancy in the UK market and plans continued growth in the coming years, with workload and projects increasing in recent years. Our client expects the successful applicant to manage projects, prepare reports, undertake surveys and provide advice to clients to enable them to provide an excellent level of service. Our client is seeking Senior Ecological Consultants who can communicate fee proposals and costs with clients, liaise with stakeholders to ensure the best outcome for the clients and ecology, as well as communicate effectively with the team and sub-consultants. The successful applicant should also have experience with Biodiversity Net-Gain. The perfect candidate must be competent in: Managing large scale projects on complex sites, with occasional support or guidance from Principal Ecologists. Providing verbal and written advice to clients, particularly in larger and more complex projects. Undertaking surveys for a variety of species alone, and leading in survey teams. Preparation of reports including PEAs, EcIAs, EMPs, BMAs and EPSM license applications. Providing mentoring to more junior staff and using a range of software packages to analyse survey data and support reporting requirements.
