We have a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Senior eCommerce Manager at Holland & Barrett. As the Senior eCommerce Manager, you will lead the growth and performance of your category areas across the UK and Ireland website and app. Acting as the primary point of contact for commercial category teams, you will shape and execute digital strategies that align with broader business objectives. This high-visibility leadership role involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders across Digital, Commercial, Tech, Retail Operations, Marketing, and Finance, ensuring alignment and delivering impactful plans to enhance performance and customer experience. Ecommerce Strategy & Execution:

Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies to achieve and exceed revenue and profitability targets. Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth. Marketplace Management:

Lead the strategy and execution for our new in-house Marketplace platform including product listing optimisation, pricing, advertising, and inventory management. Manage relationships with marketplace vendors to leverage promotional opportunities, advertising opportunities, maximise stock and resolve issues. Performance Optimisation and Analysis:

Constantly monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including traffic, conversion rates, average order value and customer growth. Use data-driven insights to identify and implement continuous improvements to site and category performance and marketplace operations. Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to drive compelling campaigns and promotions across channels. Lead on key financial reporting and provide updates on core actions being taken across your areas on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Team Leadership & Collaboration:

Lead a team of four direct reports, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. Building strong development and succession plans to accelerate your teams performance. Work closely with the commercial leadership and digital leadership teams to develop new opportunities and to execute on the category strategies. Collaborate with a wide range of functions including the wider digital team, product, engineering, UX, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless end-to-end customer experiences. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:

Work closely with supply chain planning and logistics teams to ensure accurate inventory levels across all sales channels. Forecast demand for and coordinate replenishment strategies to minimise stockouts and build opportunities to sell through excess inventory. Customer Experience:

Drive initiatives to enhance the customer journey, from discovery to post-purchase with data at the heart of all decisions. Oversee the resolution of customer inquiries and issues related to ecommerce and marketplace transactions. This role can be based at London or Nuneaton, and may occasionally be required to travel to any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the office. The Person: Key Requirements:

E-commerce and Omni-channel Knowledge - Strong knowledge of e-commerce and omni-channel principles and environment, including promotional strategies, customer journey mapping, and trading cycles. Marketplace Management - Working knowledge of marketplaces and experience of how to optimise product and vendor performance. Analytics and Reporting Tools - Proficiency in using digital analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Content Square) to measure performance metrics. Content and Platform Management - Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and merchandising tools to drive website and app performance. Market Trends and Competitor Analysis - Expertise in monitoring market trends and competitive activities, translating insights into actionable strategies to maintain market leadership. Direct to consumer (D2C) - Clear track record to driving sustainable growth within a large, complex and well known D2C environment. Strategy planning - Built strategic plans to drive the performance of your business areas. Revenue Growth and Innovation - Track record of identifying and quickly implementing revenue-driving opportunities, such as new promotional tactics, range expansion and building partnership opportunities. Strategic Planning and Execution - Skilled in creating strategic plans, managing critical paths, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Data Analysis and Problem-Solving - Ability to analyse complex data sets to identify trends, address challenges and continuously offer new solutions.
