This standalone position offers the opportunity to lead and shape EHS policies and practices, ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. About the Role: As the Senior EHS Advisor, you will develop, implement, and oversee the company's EHS policies, ensuring adherence to all relevant UK legislation. Working independently, you will play a pivotal role in driving compliance, promoting best practices, and supporting operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments, identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions. Ensure compliance with UK EHS legislation, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements. Deliver engaging EHS training programs to employees, fostering a safety-first culture. Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and implement preventative measures. Manage waste and emissions control, ensuring adherence to environmental permits. Prepare and submit EHS performance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies. Drive continuous improvement by adopting best practices and innovative solutions. Maintain accurate records for waste, accidents, incidents, and near misses. Coordinate internal auditing schedules and associated record-keeping. About You: Hold a relevant professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH). Bring proven EHS management experience within a manufacturing environment. Possess strong knowledge of UK EHS legislation and standards. Demonstrate excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Have proficiency in EHS management systems and software. Exhibit strong influencing abilities and attention to detail. Be capable of delivering effective training programs and managing time effectively. Why Join?
