Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer Benefits: Salary – Between £45,000 to £55,000 per year, dependent on experience Permanent – Full Time, Monday to Friday Annual leave: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with the option to purchase up to 10 additional days leave per year Pension scheme: up to 6% contribution Hybrid working to support you in a healthy work-life balance Ongoing professional development through varying project work Good maternity leave package Cycle2work scheme Discounts from leading retailers Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer Role: Work as a member of the Building Services Team to deliver on schools and corporate maintenance programmes Produce Electrical Building Services design calculations using a range of techniques ranging from simple hand calculations through to industry standard software such as Hevacomp, DIALux and Relux. Produce feasibility reports, condition surveys, design specifications and drawings suitable for all RIBA work stages Undertake detailed surveys on electrical building services to advise on their suitability for continued use Contract administration and project management Oversee and supervise the installation of building services systems, undertake commissioning management and specify maintenance and operating procedures Carry out project design and complete H&S risk assessments to meet current CDM regulation requirements Chair, document and issue formal meeting notes for client and contractor meetings Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer Requirements: Degree or HNC in Building Services/Electrical Engineering Ideally working towards MCIBSE Good working knowledge of electrical services Experience with electrical surveys and condition survey reports Experience of working on buildings that contain asbestos Confident in providing advice on building related matters including fire safety and sustainability Able to produce plans, sections and detailed drawings, specifications, schedules of works and other documents to high standards Able to investigate and analyse services defects to develop solutions to system failures Experienced and confident in the preparation of decarbonisation/sustainability reports Experienced in supervising and monitoring Electrical installation work on site Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, Autodesk AutoCAD and NBS software, Revit Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts A full UK driving license — Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
