Looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for an up-and-coming contractor who has a very healthy pipeline of work for the foreseeable future.
All works are within the renewable sector, focusing on Battery and Solar PV storage, as well as work on substations.
The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years' experience, with a BSc in Electrical Engineering or a similar field. The candidate will report directly to the Director and will help manage junior electrical design engineers. Candidates must also come from an electrical background or have relevant electrical experience.
The role is office-based in North Lanarkshire, with 90% of your time spent there. You will be required to do some site visits across Scotland and Northern England, but this will only be when necessary.
Experience in civils, electrical and UK grid codes, cables, substations, solar, and battery storage is beneficial.
Salary will range between £60K-£75K, and we are looking to get someone started as soon as possible.
