Critical Systems , delivering cutting-edge designs while managing teams and resources effectively. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, assume increasing levels of responsibility over time, and gain access to accredited professional development programs, supporting your journey to
Chartered Engineer
status. Key Responsibilities for Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Critical Systems : Develop and manage detailed
electrical design solutions
for projects, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically excellent, innovative, and sustainable designs. Lead a small team, oversee junior engineers, and mentor them toward professional growth. Conduct
site surveys , inspections, and assessments, ensuring compliance with design objectives. Maintain client-facing responsibilities, attending meetings to present designs and updates. Work with the team leader to monitor project fees, resource allocation, and work schedules. Required Skills & Experience : Degree-qualified in
Electrical Engineering
or
Building Services Engineering
(BEng/MEng or equivalent). Previous experience in a
Building Services Consultancy
as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Critical Systems. Proficiency in relevant software such as
Amtech (ProDesign) ,
Dialux ,
Relux ,
Revit , and
AutoCAD . Demonstrable experience in low-energy, sustainable design and detailed electrical design development. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to overcoming challenges.
