We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design and development of electrical systems for water and wastewater projects, from conception through to construction phase. Key Responsibilities Lead electrical engineering aspects of multi-discipline design projects focusing primarily on water & wastewater M&E capital and growth projects Work closely with contractors, commissioning team, and the client to develop solutions that meet required standards & specifications whilst taking ownership over design quality and consistency Support design and delivery through producing high-quality Technical Schedules, Pump Calculations, Cable & Load Calculations, Functional Design Specifications and Commissioning Plans Client-facing experience as well as a commercial awareness of design and construct projects Create electrical engineering drawings, including single-line diagrams, control schematics, and panel layouts Lead reviews of specifications and designs against industry standards and electrical codes. Leading on the design of control, instrumentation, main incoming electrical supply and installation systems Develop risk assessments and method statements Engage in continual professional development, including pursuing professional registration (actively supported by the company) Qualifications and Skills Electrical Engineering Degree / HND / HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering or related discipline with strong experience in a project engineering environment Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint Proven ability to work within a team environment with a dedicated approach to meet project deadlines Preferred Skills Experience with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) Familiarity with water and wastewater treatment processes and electrical equipment Experience in electrical design development for clean / wastewater non-infrastructure is desirable Previous utility industry knowledge and experience is beneficial but not essential Strong analytical and problem-solving skills What We Offer Opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects in the water sector Supportive environment for professional growth and development Collaborative team setting with exposure to various aspects of water and wastewater engineering Chance to contribute to sustainable water management solutions Join our team and apply your electrical engineering expertise to solve complex challenges in the water and wastewater industry.
