The Position Join an innovative and expanding consultancy, currently comprising around 15 engineers, in the role of Senior Electrical Design Engineer. You will be joining a leading company specializing in building services design consultancy, offering a diverse range of services across various sectors. The role is to support the project managers in delivering the electrical design on projects. Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for delivering the electrical design on projects. Attendance at design team meetings as a company representative. Ideally, have started to lead some aspects of project delivery. Working knowledge of other related engineering disciplines and ability to take account of these in the design of projects. Ability to explain and present technical matters and solutions to project teams. Ability to present design options and solutions in sketch or outline form. Attendance and presentation of own discipline’s design at project design reviews. Ensure designs for own discipline on projects have requisite Statutory Approvals and compliance. Navigation of BIM models using Navisworks software is preferred. Personal Attributes:

Critical thinking – able to raise problems as they occur and suggest solutions. Communication – able to clearly communicate internally and externally, verbally and in writing. Ability to work on your own and as part of a team. Professionalism in dealing with others and problems. Flexibility/adaptable.
