As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be required to lead engineering on install sites and manage long projects and shutdowns. You will be the main Engineer on install sites, coordinating work on site and allocating roles and responsibilities to team members. You will bridge the skill set gap between field service, sales, service centre, and Senior Management.
Working alongside colleagues, you will be a great team player and take pride in your workplace and working environment, ensuring that high standards are maintained while complying with company procedures and processes. You will communicate effectively, keeping your Line Manager and Customers informed as required.

To succeed in the Engineer role, you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Main Engineer on install sites, coordinating work on site and allocating roles and responsibilities to team members. Plan own works for surveys, installs, operating, and deinstalls. Liaise with Sales for new work and site surveys for technical knowledge. Oversee and lead install/deinstall on projects. Book in install and kit surveys for all install sites/projects. Use time to train others on basic install and maintenance tasks when in the service centre. Look for opportunities to grow fleet and expand services – manage time effectively to maximize productivity/downtime. Actively engage with H&S initiatives. Seek engineering and H&S improvements. Attend FATs/SATs on behalf of SBR-CP and represent SBR-CP in a professional capacity in front of clients (Local and Abroad). When workload dictates, assist with site installs, cable installs, etc. Be motivated – lead by example, assist in growing team knowledge. Attend business-specific training as required. Any other duties reasonably requested. Skills and Attributes Ability to work alone, self-motivated, flexible, proactive, and committed with good time management skills. Effective team player when working with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output. Computer literate with MS programs. Excellent attention to detail. Planning and prioritizing skills. Good problem-solving skills and logical approach. Able to train others on basic tasks. Good understanding of client expectations and the impact of failure/cost due to poor quality. Understanding of H&S. Customer-facing – good communication skills. Presentable. Leads by example. Qualifications and Experience Levels GCSE or equivalent. Previous install experience. ECS / CSCS. Mechanical & Electrical experience advantageous. Experience working to deadlines. Financial awareness. Detailed approach. Ideally someone who has been in and around rental and fixed install applications. Application skill set. Ideally familiar with all SBR-CP Products with strong knowledge in 3 of SBR-CP key products/areas. Documents Full UK driving license. Passport.
