We now have an opportunity for a motivated and suitably qualified Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. Role & Responsibilities:

A senior member of the electrical team with a focus on technical quality of deliverables and delivery of technical documents in accordance with schedule and budget. Provide technical direction and inputs to electrical team personnel. Review and approve engineering documents such as calculations, specifications, datasheets and reports to ensure compliance with specification and functional integrity. Support preparation and carry-out review and approval of drawings including general arrangements, layouts, block diagrams, single line diagrams, etc. Ensure all deliverables are aligned with company and client procedures and applicable standards; ensure documents are originated, checked and approved by suitably competent personnel. Liaise with clients, contractors and vendors. Lead on project technical decisions. Co-ordinate Electrical activities with other engineering disciplines. Attend internal and external project review meetings. Monitor changes in scope of work and raise change notification with Project Managers. Input to project schedules and cost estimates. Identification of scope of work required to undertake a project. Estimation of deliverables and hours required to deliver a project. Mentor to the junior member of the Electrical team. Skills & Qualifications:

Engineering degree or relevant industry experience. Chartered Engineer status or working towards. Effective Leadership skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation. Ability to interface and liaise with key client and internal stakeholders. Significant, demonstrable experience in detailed design engineering. Experience of carrying out cable sizing calculations using Amtech, Electrical, OM or similar software. Strong knowledge of HV systems (up to 11/33kV). Experienced in electrical studies including load studies, fault studies and protection coordination using ETAP, or similar software is preferred. Familiar with ATEX requirements. Earthing design experience preferred but not mandatory. Lighting design experience preferred but not mandatory. Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant Oil & Gas Industry Codes and Standards. Competent in the use of MS Office applications. Exposure to mentoring of junior team members and apprentices.
