Key Skills:
Responsible for the production of Electrical tenders for both pre-designed and design & construct projects along with estimating of small works. Role is to receive client enquiries, organise or complete the required surveys and prepare detailed estimates, tenders and quotations to ensure that opportunities are being accurately estimated competitively, successfully and profitably. Support the Business in client meetings and estimation/tender presentations to help secure tendered opportunities. Using relevant industry experience, you will be expected to help develop and refine the estimation process to improve efficiency, clarity, and accuracy while reducing overall costs along with build relationships with new and existing clients. Experience:
Experience with estimating electrical services. Engineering/Installer background would be ideal. Proven track record in Electrical services industry. Must have sound knowledge of all electrical systems. Able to read and understand tender drawings and specifications. Skills and Abilities:
Confident oral and written communication skills. IT proficient in all key Office products, including Excel and comfortable working in an office environment. High numeracy levels & commercial awareness a must alongside an eye for finer details. Comfortable working amongst a team yet equally as driven when working alone. Able to communicate politely and professionally at all levels, internally and with customers. Effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines. Good organisational skills and able to manage workload. Ability to negotiate and influence. Capable of remaining focused and calm during busy periods. Receptive and adaptable to change.
