What you'll be doing:

As our Senior Electrical Facilities Engineer, you’ll provide all-round engineering support, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our Data Centres. You will have a deep understanding of Building Services systems and be responsible for complying with Health & Safety and building codes of practice. This will be a mobile role covering sites across the UK with a focus on the North of England and Scotland, and you will also be part of an on-call rota. As a hands-on engineer, you will work closely with the Data Centre Operations Team, managing and performing essential maintenance and installation tasks to ensure our Data Centres operate at optimal efficiency. Your goal is to maintain a 100% uptime and ensure the safety and professionalism of all activities on site. We want to hear from you if you:

Have a good understanding of Facilities Management and Electrical Systems Have experience of Preventative Planned Maintenance Management Have a good knowledge of Data Centre plant and equipment including UPS, Static Switches, Generators, Fuel Systems, Switchgear, Transformers, Cooling Have experience in change control in mission-critical environments Are computer literate, in particular with Microsoft Office suite Have a good understanding of Building Management Systems and project management processes Are qualified to City and Guilds 2365 Level 3 – Electrical Installations and BS 7671-18th Edition IET At iomart, we’re committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
