An expanding business known worldwide for their innovative and technologically advanced machinery requires a number of engineers due to the award of new projects. Working as part of a team to build automated machinery systems and equipment from detailed engineering drawings, duties will include: Senior Electrical Fitter Telford Ref: 24222 Senior Electrical Fitter - The Role: Construction of electrical systems and equipment Installation of equipment at customer locations worldwide Fault finding and rectification Leading small electrical teams Provide guidance and instruction within a team of electrical fitters Training and development of junior electrical fitters To be actively involved in task management Navigation of software to access part drawings and material requirements Ownership of the designated build area to maintain acceptable housekeeping Set standards and lead by example in accordance with company policies and procedures Ensure full adherence to Health & Safety requirements Senior Electrical Fitter - The Person: Demonstrated experience of a senior role within electrical equipment assembly Have sound knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes Experience of using hand and power tools MEWP & FLT qualification advantageous, training can be provided Proven ability to solve problems Competent in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SAP business software desirable Demonstrated team management experience City & Guilds, ONC or HNC qualification in electrical engineering discipline The successful candidate will be forward-thinking, have good communication skills, and team management experience. It is essential you have a full driving licence, current passport, and the ability to travel worldwide. Located in Telford, this role would be commutable from Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Cannock, Kidderminster, Newport, Shifnal, Wellington. This role would be suitable for Engineers with experience in Electrical Fitting, Electrical Panel Wiring, Test, or Service of automated machinery. For further information call Taylor Butterfield.
