Senior Maintenance Electrician This is a
full-time
opportunity on a
permanent
basis, based onsite in South Mimms, Hertfordshire. Please note that this role can only be worked in the UK. In addition to the base salary of £36,395, this role attracts a Market Pay Supplement of £6,000 per annum. Who are we? The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency enhances and improves public health through the effective regulation of medicines and medical devices. What’s the role? The post will be responsible for providing a specialised electrical service to ensure that the South Mimms Site (SMS) functions are maintained in compliance with relevant legislation as part of the Maintenance Team. Key responsibilities: Carry out electrical work to support the specialist areas of the SMS. Conduct Electrical compliance work (periodic inspection and tests/portable appliance testing) aligned with UK legislation. Co-ordinate and complete the planned preventative maintenance programme for specialist plant and equipment. Investigate and respond to faults and unscheduled tasks on a priority basis. Who are we looking for? Minimum NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Electrical installation or maintenance. Demonstrated competence in Inspection and Testing with a qualification in the Certification of Electrical Installations (C&G 2391). BS7671 qualification to the 18th Edition. Significant experience in a Maintenance or Building Services environment. Ability to prioritise work effectively. Completion of an online application form and interview process.
