Key responsibilities include: Analysing and troubleshooting device functions, identifying root causes of issues using technical documents and experiments. Working autonomously to evaluate and implement solutions across software, hardware, and manufacturing processes. Collaborating with teams to improve designs and manufacturing processes, ensuring successful implementation without introducing new issues. Documenting and communicating technical decisions clearly with internal and external stakeholders. Supporting R&D efforts by improving equipment and assisting scientists in research projects.
Qualifications: MSc/MEng in Engineering (e.g., Systems, Biomedical, Mechatronics, Electronics) or related field. 5+ years of experience in a regulated industry (e.g., ISO 13485). Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Altium) and electromechanical design for manufacturing. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience in lab instrumentation. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Experience with embedded software (C), sensors, motors, pneumatics, and device design is a plus.
