Are you an experienced Electronic Design Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to lead innovative projects and mentor a talented team? We are seeking a Senior Electrical and Electronic Design Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team.

About the Role Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for conceptual design, work package flow-down, and successful product realization. This role also includes providing technical support and training to less senior engineers, ensuring high standards of quality and innovation in all projects.

Key Responsibilities

Generate electrical/electronic design specifications and cost estimates for team members and quotes. Act as the lead technical engineer on projects, collaborating with project managers and customers to meet design specifications. Oversee the development of electrical drawings and electronic documentation. Design PCBs, check wiring schedules, and schematic information for accuracy and efficiency. Sign off manufacturing drawing packs and provide technical support during assembly and testing stages. Participate in Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) as required. Stay updated on industry standards and contribute to product reference documentation.

Attributes and Skills

Accurate and methodical with strong problem-solving skills. Proficient in creating wiring schedules and schematics that support efficient manufacturing. Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and team members. Adaptable and able to work on a variety of projects.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Formal engineering qualification in electronic/electrical design. Minimum 5 years of industry-related experience at design/implementation level. Experience in designing test equipment and analogue/digital interface circuits. Eligibility to meet formal Security Check (SC) criteria.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

Experience in power engineering or with National Instruments hardware/software.
