FINTEC recruit is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer with a salary up to circa £65,000 plus benefits. This is a permanent role based in Stirling, working for a leading medical/healthcare organisation. Hybrid working is available, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. You will have VHDL design experience for FPGAs, ideally with schematic and PCB layout experience in both analog and digital elements.

Oversee verification of designs. Define test protocols and procedures with product evaluation. Design specialised test jigs to assess functionality and reliability. Focus and support for design validation, particularly for electrical, electromagnetic compatibility, and usability testing. Skills and Experience Required
A bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Electronics Engineering or similar, or 5+ years of experience in electronics design for system development. Electronics schematic and layout design experience (ideally in Altium Designer) for analogue and digital circuits. VHDL design experience for FPGAs. Experience with RF, designing antennas, and using RF tools like spectrum analysers or network analysers would be desirable, but not essential. Experience of working with medical applications/products would be an advantage or an interest in medical product design.
