A market leading organisation are looking to add a Principal Electronics Design Engineer to join their growing design team in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. This company design and manufacture a range of fire detection technologies that are sold all over the UK.

The products are used within the consumer electronics industry and due to growth, they are looking to add a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to become a key member of their development department.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job:

Schematic design, circuit layout, prototyping and bench testing Act as the main initial point of contact for electronics Produce work plans for the team, engineering reports and operating manuals

Key Skills / Experience Required for the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job:

Extensive experience developing electronic products Proficiency with Altium 365 and similar tools Proven experience of delivering high quality designs in a regulated environment The ability to line manage, lead and coach other team members Solid technical authoring ability A driving licence is required as the site in Cambridge is difficult to reach by public transport

This is a hybrid job with approximately 3-4 days per week on site depending on the project work taking place.
