Job Description

We are working with a leading company in marine technology and due to growth, looking to add a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to the R&D department. Role Overview You'll be designing new products for sensitive measurement devices and be involved in managing the complete development cycle from concept to launch. The technology is complex and offers interesting design problems. Key Skills Developing analogue design, including mixed-signal simulation. Micro-controller/CPLD hardware with working knowledge of associated software design. PCB layout high-speed digital design, including conventional and SMD. Designing for ‘local’ (intra-system) EMC, controlled impedance, and low noise. Use of CAD tools and systems: OrCAD, Allegro, AutoCAD, Altium, MathCAD, MatLab. FPGAs using VHDL. Schematic capture, BOMs, technical drawings. EMI, impedance matching, and layer stack-up. Design for EMC and EMC Measurement and Mitigation techniques.
