Senior Electronics Engineer Hybrid Working / Flexible Working Hours Hampshire £60-65k per annum We are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to help us with our growth plans, who can bring technical competence, experience, and skill in his or her chosen field to the development of the company’s products. The successful candidate will be expected to become a key member of a small multidisciplinary development team. Primary Responsibilities

Be able to translate ideas, requirements, and engineering specifications into solid engineering solutions. Provide sound time/cost estimates and plans, and be able to stick to them. Develop electronic sub-system solutions, which will form part of an overall system, which may also incorporate optics, mechanics, and software. Develop test strategies to evaluate equipment and document findings, not only from the electronic aspects of a device but also for an entire system or product. Support manufacturing and other relevant departments during project development and production phases. Deal with all aspects of the lifecycle of a product from cradle to grave, including providing manufacturing support. Liaise with suppliers, e.g., layout specialists/CMOs. Experience / Qualifications

Degree level or equivalent in Electronic Engineering + demonstrable practical design and construction experience. Competent analogue and digital electronics engineer. Proficient in the use of ECAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout. Utilise circuit simulation as necessary. Experience in building prototypes, test equipment, etc., using through-hole or SMD technology. Ability to program a microcontroller to bring a ‘bare metal’ system to life, with programming skills in assembler, C, or similar languages being useful. Knowledge of programmable logic is desirable, though not essential. Understanding and adherence to the company QMS. Ability to produce high-quality engineering documentation to support work. Experience of working within the defence/aerospace or similar sectors is desirable but not essential. We look forward to receiving your CV.
