The Role Advising on contentious and non-contentious matters, including disciplinary issues, dismissals, TUPE, redundancies, and discrimination claims. Managing Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal litigation. Providing employment law support on corporate transactions, including due diligence, TUPE, and warranties/indemnities. Delivering high-quality training seminars and workshops for employer clients. Handling employment terminations, settlement agreements, and related tax implications. Conducting advocacy before employment tribunals and courts. Exploring opportunities to gain experience in immigration and data protection issues.
Candidate Profile Have 7+ years PQE with broad experience in all aspects of employment law. Be skilled in Employment Tribunal litigation and corporate transactional support. Possess strong legal analysis, drafting, and verbal and written communication skills. Be commercially minded, confident in offering pragmatic advice, and comfortable taking a viewpoint. Have experience supervising and mentoring junior team members. Be proactive in business development and promoting the firm's services. Be able to work independently on complex, high-profile cases with minimal supervision.
