We're looking forward to hearing from you! Person Specification Education/Qualifications Essential: Degree (or equivalent specialist knowledge) in an engineering or environmental discipline. Good general education. Desirable: Formal Project Management qualification. Experience Essential: Specialist knowledge - sustainability, energy management and environmental management including strategic awareness, business case preparation and presentations. Significant post qualification experience in a similar role. Demonstrate financial management experience. Desirable: Demonstrable operational and HR experience. Membership of a professional body. Experience working with PFI contracts. Skills & Knowledge Essential: Ability to deal with highly complicated situations and the delivery of challenging corporate objectives. Knowledge of relevant British and European legislation and NHS guidance. Ability to communicate with clinical, technical and senior managerial staff both inside and outside the organisation regarding a range of technical subject areas. Ability to develop, implement and monitor policies and procedures to support core areas and disciplines. Knowledge of management systems, BMS etc. Knowledge of financial systems and the preparation of annual budget assessments and ongoing financial monitoring. IT literate. Good analytical skills.
