We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer to lead an Asset Design team under the general direction of the Asset and Design Manager. The successful applicant shall co-ordinate the workload of the team and provide expertise for the Service in the field of Civil Engineering and Asset Maintenance.

The successful applicant shall have a relevant Degree and/or be an Incorporated member with a relevant professional institution and have demonstrable evidence of relevant experience in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry design.

The successful applicant shall have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Civil Engineering Design processes or have demonstrable evidence of experience in the management and financial control of large (up to £2M) and small construction schemes.

In addition to the above, we require an individual with a degree of fluency in the Welsh language. A successful applicant without the required Welsh language skill will be fully supported to reach the desired standard within two years of appointment.
