Senior Engineer - Tier 1 Contractor - Major Civils Project - Carlisle
Role Overview: My client is a World Leading Construction and Civil Engineering Company. They are presently delivering a major substation project in the Carlisle area and need reinforcements in the form of a Senior Engineer. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in civil engineering projects and will be leading a section of the project with a couple of engineers under them.
Duties Include: Manage all engineering activity providing direction to the direct workforce and subcontractors. Quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance with the design specifications. Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management). Ensure the highest health, safety, and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirements. Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specifications. Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries, and resource allocations. Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD.
