We provide engineering and technician services to construction companies under a project services based model. We are currently working with an established client in the civil engineering sector.
The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civils Engineer to join our dynamic southern based team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and Microdrainage / Infodrainage, coupled with a deep understanding of earthworks design, drainage systems, pavement design, and 3D underground services coordination. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet cost, schedule, and quality standards.
Key Objectives
Comprehensive Infrastructure Design:
Undertake all aspects of infrastructure design across diverse project sizes and sectors. Technical Proficiency:
Utilise Autodesk Civil 3D and Microdrainage / Infodrainage effectively to achieve project goals. Project Delivery:
Deliver design packages that meet cost, schedule, and quality criteria. Team Collaboration:
Work seamlessly within a fully integrated, multidiscipline design team to ensure project success.
Qualifications and Training HNC / HND / Degree in Civil Engineering. Full UK Driving Licence. Ability to hold or previous holder of UK security clearance (BPSS minimum).
Technical Skills and Experience Civil Design Proficiency: Storm and foul network design. Attenuation solutions and specification. Planning, designing, and implementing SUDS. Ground level modelling and underground services coordination using Civil 3D. Flexible and rigid pavement design. Infrastructure Design Expertise:
Technically competent in all aspects of infrastructure design and coordination. Regulatory Compliance:
Experienced in managing responsibilities under CDM and health and safety regulations. Stakeholder Liaison:
Independent liaison with statutory authorities and experience with Private and Public Highways (S38), Adoptable Public Sewers (S104), and Highway Improvement Works (S278) agreements. Quality Assurance:
Full understanding and delivery of assurance/sign-off requirements. Standards and Practices:
Up-to-date with adoptable standards and practices. Project Management:
Proven track record of project delivery and client satisfaction. Communication:
Exceptional written and oral communication skills. IT Proficiency:
Excellent IT skills, particularly in relevant design software.
