To thrive in this role, you should: Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM (science, technology, engineering or mathematics) field, or an equivalent qualification. Be able to demonstrate an ability to converse technically in English with precision and clarity. Recognise the value of office presence to foster a collaborative environment for team growth. Bring a wealth of experience, with a background in an engineering consulting role, preferably within a fire engineering environment. Possess good knowledge of the UK construction industry, and understand the project procurement process, RIBA stages and a fire engineer’s role within the process. Be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development (CPD) and should be able to demonstrate that you are at least, in the process of progressing through the CEng process. Have experience in managing the time, deliverables and training other engineers in a fire engineering capacity. Be able to demonstrate the ability to run several large projects simultaneously and be involved in all aspects of the project management process. Have a technical skillset across the fire engineering discipline, but also start to focus on enhanced knowledge of a particular technology or engineering method. What We Offer
