We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer with a strong background in steel frame construction to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural steelwork, working on large-scale projects in the commercial, industrial, or infrastructure sectors. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities Lead the design, planning, and execution of steel frame building projects. Provide technical guidance and expertise on structural steelwork to project teams. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and fabricators to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations. Conduct structural analysis and calculations to assess the feasibility and safety of steel frame structures. Oversee the installation, fabrication, and erection of steel frames on-site. Ensure all projects adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards. Mentor and support junior engineers, ensuring technical excellence across projects. Review technical drawings, specifications, and reports, making recommendations for improvements where necessary. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery. Stay updated with the latest advancements in steel construction techniques and industry standards.
Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years experience in structural analysis, steel fabrication, and erection processes. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex engineering challenges. Strong communication and leadership abilities, capable of managing cross-functional teams.
