£110-120k base salary, bonus, generous pension, 30 days holiday (plus bank holidays), healthcare plus much more on offer.

As part of a Fintech success story, you will be joining a growing business (30+ engineering hires in the next 3-6 months) with a fantastic work culture. My client is searching for opportunities to perfect their processes and implement methodologies that help their teams to thrive locally and globally. Tech stack includes

Golang, Python, PHP, AWS, Microservices, CI/CD, Scrum .

As Engineering Manager, your job is:

to ensure the multidisciplinary software engineering teams have everything they need to deliver a fantastic product to customers and clients, and that everyone understands the product roadmap and business objectives. This means aligning architecture and technology roadmaps and ensuring we’re building the right features and capabilities at the right time.

Key Responsibilities: Managing managers (tech leads) and therefore management of teams of teams. Experience of working in high growth fast-paced scale-up environments. Past experience in a hands-on engineering role. Experience across both regulatory and non-regulatory sectors. Excellent communication skills with experience working with all levels of business. Leading/managing teams of Engineers writing business-critical/complex solutions in polyglot/open-source languages (Golang, Python, PHP, Java). Managing team capacity and estimation to ensure the team can provide an appropriate view of work and suggest potential completion dates. Any experience within finance, banking, or retail finance is of interest but NOT essential.
