Senior Engineering Technician , £35K to £40K, North Somerset
* £35,000 to £40,000 as a guide + life assurance + 25 days holidays and all bank holidays.

This Senior Engineering Technician job will involve: 70%-80% of the time the role will be focussed on providing a maintenance and repair service for all aspects of the manufacturing department - pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment and machinery. 20%-30% of the time the role will be focussed on planning of maintenance activities, ordering of spare parts, supporting another Engineering Technician in the team (supervising / supporting rather than management). Fault finding and rectification of basic electrical systems. Preventative maintenance and regular testing and inspection of equipment and processes. Support manufacturing fixture design and fabrication (training can be provided over time).
This Senior Engineering Technician job will suit:
An Engineering Technician or Mechanical Technician or Maintenance Technician with experience of working within a production or manufacturing environment that involves mechanical equipment / machinery or hydraulics, or pneumatics, or similar equipment. You will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. You will hold a formal qualification in a relevant engineering, production, manufacturing, or similar discipline. An Engineering Technician that will enjoy working within a broad and interesting role focussed on supporting the delivery of a first-class manufacturing environment.
This Senior Engineering Technician job is commutable from Weston Super Mare, Bridgwater, Clevedon, Nailsea, Burnham-on-Sea, Yatton, Cleeve and surrounding areas.
