Senior Consultant
to join their permitting team based close to Exmoor in Somerset. Main responsibilities include: Support existing clients with Environmental Permit requirements Negotiate variations to existing permits Advise as appropriate to regulator requests (e.g., following a Complaint Assessment Report (CAR)) Provide practical operational advice and operational support (including acting as Technically Competent Manager (TCM) in some circumstances) Currently working in the environmental management, waste, or renewable energy sector for either a consultancy or regulator such as the Environment Agency, Local Authority, or Natural England Taking a lead role as the first point of contact for clients on projects Preparation and submission of environmental permit applications, including required supporting information and management plans Sound and up-to-date best practice knowledge of conducting desk studies and undertaking site-based work Your benefits include: Company Bonus scheme Fully stocked kitchen for breakfast and lunch every day Pension Training and Development Opportunities Cycle to work scheme Buy additional annual leave Team building, fun activities, and events Free on-site parking with electric charging points Friendly and supportive environment This is an in-office role with regular travel to client sites.
