The Food Safety / Health and Safety Team is a busy front-line service responsible for the delivery of the food safety, communicable disease, health and safety and special procedures licensing functions. The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team on a 2 year fixed-term contract to undertake the full range of food hygiene and standards enforcement work, as well as the investigation of communicable disease notifications, service requests and dealing with any health and safety matters identified during food safety inspections. You will need excellent communication skills, be a great team player and have experience of working in a food safety role and dealing with a wide range of people and situations in a professional manner. Minimum Requirements

Applicants/candidates will need to have a Degree in Environmental Health or equivalent as well as a Certificate of Registration of the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB) and demonstrate compliance with the Competency Framework detailed in the Food Standards Agency Food Law Code of Practice. You will need a full UK driving licence and use of a car while at work. Manager details for informal discussion:
