What You’ll Be Doing

Martin-Baker is the world’s leading manufacturer of ejection seats, helping to protect aircrew in the world’s most advanced military aircraft. Our mission is simple - to save aircrew lives.

Join us on this mission in our Environmental Test team to ensure that our ejection seats can withstand all types of environmental conditions. We’re looking for Engineers across all experience levels.

The team’s typical day involves planning, designing and organising tests to evidence that materials meet our design and customer requirements. You’ll analyse data and produce thorough reports following all tests that take place, using your knowledge of testing programmes and Military/Civilian Test standards.

Depending on your level of experience, we may ask you to assist with developing and training junior engineers, so you’ll play a part in helping them thrive.

We’re developing and delivering a product that is the last line of defence for pilots. The engineering you’ll be delivering to customers is world-leading and saves lives. We want to learn from you. You’ll help us listen to customers, supporting them to understand how they can best deploy our product and you’ll be an expert voice who represents our business.

Education & Qualifications

2:1 or above degree qualification in an Engineering subject.
