I am currently representing a highly regarded regional construction company based in Bournemouth. Specializing in managing the design and construction processes, they deliver a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors such as Industrial, Retail, Residential, and both renovation and new build. This company is renowned for completing projects on time, within budget, and to an exceptional standard, leveraging a variety of procurement methods.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Estimator, you will be instrumental in ensuring competitive and accurate tender submissions, contributing to the company's continued success. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing tender documentation, employer’s requirements, and project specifications to assess implications. Preparing detailed and comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQ), pricing schedules, and tender submissions. Performing accurate take-offs from drawings and specifications to support cost analysis and estimates. Presenting tender submissions for adjudication and contributing to decision-making meetings. Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing. Analysing and incorporating tender returns into final submissions and handover packs. What is in it for you?
