Life assurance. Great pension scheme. Key Responsibilities: Measure and prepare quantities from drawings and specifications. Abstract material and subcontract requirements for pricing and sourcing. Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of material and subcontractor quotations. Prepare detailed analytical estimates, including the appraisal of construction plant and temporary works. Participate in the preparation of submission documents. Conduct site visits during the tender period. Forecast capital expenditure and income. Develop cash flow forecasts. What do you need? Experience with pricing work under various contract forms, including NEC, Fixed, Target Cost, Design & Build, Specification & Drawing, or ECI bids. Degree in a Civil Engineering-related discipline or equivalent. Chartered status or working towards it is preferred. Strong technical understanding of Civil Engineering with the ability to suggest alternative solutions.
