Based in Wiltshire, we combine innovative technology with expert teams to meet client needs efficiently and sustainably. The Role We are seeking a Senior Estimator to join our client's dynamic team. This role offers the flexibility of remote working, with occasional travel to their Wiltshire office once per week. Using Causeway Estimating Software, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and competitive tenders for projects across a variety of sectors, including highways, earthworks, and commercial developments. Key Responsibilities Tender Preparation:

Analyze project specifications, drawings, and contract documents to prepare detailed cost estimates. Use Causeway software to prepare and submit tenders.

Cost Evaluation:

Assess material, labor, and equipment costs while considering project-specific risks. Develop and maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the project team, clients, and external stakeholders during pre-construction phases. Attend project meetings, client briefings, and tender interviews as required.

Market Insight:

Stay updated with industry trends, market rates, and advancements in earthworks and civil engineering technologies.

Skills and Qualifications Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator in civil engineering and/or earthworks projects. Proficiency in Causeway Estimating Software or similar tools. Strong understanding of UK construction and subcontracting markets. Excellent analytical and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field. Be confident in completing takeoffs, using PDF, Bluebeam, etc. Why Join Us?
