Estimator Refurbishment and Regeneration Projects
Are you an experienced Estimator with a passion for refurbishment and regeneration projects? This role offers the chance to make a significant impact by providing accurate and commercially astute cost estimates, contributing to the success of high-profile tender opportunities.
The Role As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in delivering precise and reasoned cost estimates for refurbishment and regeneration projects. Key responsibilities include:
Preparing detailed and commercially sound estimates based on tender requirements. Sourcing and analysing sub-contractor and material quotations for supplier and subcontract packages. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, consultants, sub-contractors, and suppliers. Collaborating with Planners and Contract Managers to establish methodology and project programs. Leading and presenting tender settlements to secure Board approval for submissions.
About You Proven estimating experience with a main contractor, preferably in the social housing refurbishment market. Strong ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings to produce detailed schedules of works. Familiarity with specialist estimating software such as Esti-mate, Conquest, or similar. Experience with measurement software like Bluebeam or equivalent. Excellent organisational and leadership skills with a proven ability to adapt to change and solve problems effectively.
