What you will be doing:
Liaise and support client engagement throughout the tenders full lifecycle to fully understand the client's requirements Prepare tender submissions are submitted accurately and on time Understand and present financial overviews of tenders Develop new business by introducing new tender opportunities Working through contractual obligations and presenting restrictions they may hold for the project team Prepare a handover pack for the construction team when handing over secured tenders Work closely with the pre-construction team on quality questions and further tender/bid requirements Conduct take offs and produce Bill of Quantities on projects up to approximately £5m-£15m
This well established and respected contractor is looking for:
Previous experience as a Construction Estimator working for a Main contracting business Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management Team Player Driven
Role: Senior Estimator
Location: Essex
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: Upto £70k - Negotiable and additional package
